Lotto:

Ulster Colleges:

Congratulations to Adele McCann and St. Mary’s Magherafelt who won the Davitt Cup on Thursday past when they defeated St. Pat’s Maghera in the Year 8 Ulster camogie final. Hard luck to Miah Boyd who was on the St. Pat’s Maghera team. Great to have Cargin representatives on both sides!

Mental health and resilience talk:

Frank Diamond will be delivering a mental health and resilience talk at the club on Monday 3rd June starting at 8pm. Light refreshments will be provided. Open to everyone in the community above age 13.

Charity football match:

On Saturday 8th June Cargin and Portglenone clubs will be coming together to raise vital funds for the Air Ambulance Northern Ireland in memory of Paddy Fullan. Starting at 4pm at Roger Casements Portglenone there will be U8, U10 and U14 camogie, at 5pm U8, U10 and U12 football and at 6pm there will be a Masters over 40s game between Cargin and Portglenone. Charity donations will be collected on the day but if you are unable to attend you can show your support at https://gofund.me/dceef7ed

Bingo disco:

School’s out for summer! Get ready to dab to the beat at the ultimate summer disco bingo for over 18s only. Join us in the social club on Saturday 29th June from 8pm. Tickets £20 available from any committee member.

Handball jersey order:

Deadline for Cargin handball jersey order is this Friday 31st May. Youth sizes: £26.50 Adult sizes: £34.20 To order your jersey PayPal the correct amount to cargin2020@gmail.com along with your name and jersey size. Remember to click friends and family when paying. Please see social media for jersey design and available sizes.

Missing boiler:

The boiler from the club kitchen is still missing, please contact any committee member if you have the boiler so that it can be returned to the club.

Pitch news:

Reminder to all players and managers to take all plastic bottles and drinks containers off the pitch after training and matches as it makes cutting the grass time consuming. Thank you for your understanding.

Downstairs gym:

New opening hours from 6:30am to 9pm daily. Gym membership £20 a month or £8 a month bolt on for Gold card members. Please contact Eamonn 07851946687 for your key fob to gain access to the gym.

Car park:

Patrons are reminded that the large stone overflow car park is not to be used for parking unless attending a GAA event at the club. It is not for gaining access to residential properties - NO EXCEPTIONS! The bollards are up for a reason, and NO ONE should be accessing the car park by driving over the kerbs along the adjacent private lane which is for vehicular access to 3 Shore Road only. Please show consideration to other people’s property and be respectful to the wishes of our Executive committee.

Dog owners:

In the interest of health and hygiene dog owners are asked not to exercise dogs in the club grounds and are reminded to clean up after your dog! Please keep our grounds free from dog dirt…

Hall booking:

The main club hall can be booked for many events including indoor soccer, basketball, handball and of course birthdays! Please remember to contact Emmett before using the hall to make sure there is nothing else on at that time. Reminder that all hall bookings must be paid for at the end of each session. Users of the hall are asked to keep the hall and the store clean after use! Emmett - 07860964147
