Lotto:
Lotto results 10th December - lotto numbers were 1, 4, 13 and 14. £25 lucky dip winners: Caitlin Kelly and Niamh Scullion. Next week’s jackpot is £1,500. Celebration night:
Many thanks to everyone involved in organising the celebration night on Saturday to commemorate the launch of the Centenary book and for the 2 championship winning teams of 1974 and 1999. A fabulous night was had by everyone in attendance. Detailed report and photos on website.
Christmas Cash Call:
Congratulations to Clare O'Boyle who was the lucky winner of the Cashcall held in the social club on Sunday evening. Many thanks to everyone who supported the draw and to those who bought and sold tickets. Catherine McFadden sold the winning ticket!
Centenary book launch:
Limited number of centenary books remaining. Contact any committee member to reserve your little (big) piece of Cargin history now. Price £40.
Cargin Christmas shop:
There will be a Christmas shop at the club on Saturday 21st December - hats, scarves, headbands, croc jibbitz, centenary books all available for sale and the collection of O'Neill's orders from 2pm to 4pm. Please arrange collection of your order if you are unable to pick it up on Saturday.
Christmas movie night at Cargin:
Saturday 21st December from 4-7pm in Cargin hall. Bring your blankets, warm clothes and holiday spirit for a magical evening watching a Christmas movie. £5 for one child £10 per family. Children under 12. Popcorn and treats provided to keep the kids entertained while you tick off those last minute Christmas gifts. Contact any camogie committee member or senior camog for more details. Pay at the door.
Underage handball:
The underage handball training programme continues on Saturday 16th November. P7s and 1st years training will be from 11am to 12pm, P5 and P6 training will be from 12pm to 1pm. Nursery training:
Reminder that nursery training continues this Saturday at 9:30am in the hall. Everyone welcome!
Downstairs gym:
New opening hours from 6:30am to 9pm daily. Gym membership £20 a month or £8 a month bolt on for Gold card members. Please contact Eamonn 07851946687 for your key fob to gain access to the gym.
Car park:
Patrons are reminded that the large stone overflow car park is not to be used for parking unless attending a GAA event at the club. It is not for gaining access to residential properties - NO EXCEPTIONS! The bollards are up for a reason, and NO ONE should be accessing the car park by driving over the kerbs along the adjacent private lane which is for vehicular access to 3 Shore Road only. Please show consideration to other people’s property and be respectful to the wishes of our Executive committee.
Dog owners:
In the interest of health and hygiene dog owners are asked not to exercise dogs in the club grounds and are reminded to clean up after your dog! Please keep our grounds free from dog dirt…
Hall booking:
The main club hall can be booked for many events including indoor soccer, basketball, handball and of course birthdays! Please remember to contact Emmett before using the hall to make sure there is nothing else on at that time. Reminder that all hall bookings must be paid for at the end of each session. Users of the hall are asked to keep the hall and the store clean after use! Emmett – 07860964147
