Erin's Own GAC, Cargin - Juvenile Aims & Objectives

The Juvenile committee is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the well being of all its members. The club believes that it is important that members, coaches, administrators and parents associated with the club must, at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of everybody. Therefore all members are encouraged to be open at all times and share any concerns or complaints that they might have about any aspect of the club with Roddy McCorley (Juvenile Officer).

We aim to promote the Gaelic Game whether it be Football, Hurling or Camogie.

We aim to promote and encourage good sportsmanship.

We aim to promote playing for enjoyment and to improve performance.

We aim for players to understand and stick by the rules set out in the Fair Play Policy.

We aim to encourage individuals to develop life skills helping them grow into healthy balanced adults.

We aim to encourage good diet, health and fitness.

We aim to promote a sense of place and respect for traditional values.

Finally we aim to promote a sense of inclusiveness and local identity.
